Im currently looking at both schools not only because of their prestige and reputation but because both have big networks in Latam. Although some people would advice to do them directly in LAC countries, for our regional and local markets it is more important to go up in the ranks to have a top European or US emba

Do you have a sense of the specific countries where you're looking for networks? It might depend: IESE tends to have more leverage in Brazil for instance, whereas IE's alumni network is a bit more robust in Mexico.

I think this is a very valid point, Id like for a network in Spanish speaking countries. Im currently residing in Mexico city but Im originally from Argentina

Aseoro potenciales candidatos a programas Executive MBA. Generalmente hay dos categorías, los locales (que se enseñan los viernes y sábados) y los híbridos/internacionales (que se eseñan parcialmente con estudio a distancia a través de un campus virtual y parcialmente con clases presenciales). Entiendo que buscas un programa híbrido/internacional.

Al comparar los programas debes tener en cuenta el tiempo repartido entre trabajo a distancia y presencial. Generalmente, para desarrollar habilidades de liderazgo y entendiento multi-cultural, más formación presencial es requerido. Hay mucha diferencia en tiempo dedicado a clases presenciales entre el GEMBA del IESE y los dos GEMBAs de IE. En el IESE pasas el doble (o más) del tiempo en clases presenciales.

En el GEMBA de IESE todo el programa está impartido por ellos en sus propios campuses - garantizando así un control total sobre la calidad del curso, y así garantizando una continuidad natural entre cada moódulo, mientras el programa de IE se basa en alianzas con otras escuelas para los módulos en el extranjero.

La mejor manera de entender bien los dos programas, es hablar con los equipos de admisiones de las escuelas, después con alumni, y si es posible, también visitar las clases.

Excellent Arve, it is what I thought...For leadership in a global context I need the most personalized interaction as possible...That is why I also thought INSEAD is very good on that however, it lacks this leg of networking with LAC, better with Asia and Middle East
