In term of brand recognition, I think ESADE is more recognized. EDHEC is a 2nd tier biz school in France unlike ESADE which is considered 1st tier in Spanish-speaking countries (ie. Spain, mexico, argentina).
Congrats on your acceptance. Well done.

Thank you very much for your reply~ but MIM FE is EDHEC flagship program and I heard that EDHEC's finance is recognized in Europe... Since I'm going to study finance, I'd like to know which one is better in terms of career prospect for finance students please? Thank you

Cooldogli... I am in the process of finishing my applications and taking the GMAT for both EDHEC and ESADE... if you don't mind me asking, how were your GMAT scores?

HI, my GMAT score is 720... BTW, which one would u choose if u got admitted by both of them pls?

Hmm that's a tough decision. ESADE has a better brand over all, but EDHEC might have a stronger program for the degree you're getting....
From what I've heard ESADE's finance program is relatively new, so EDHEC might actually be the more solid program. I know EDHEC's Master in Finance has been called the "best in France." So, I'm guessing it's also among the best in Europe...
Anyway, isn't EDHEC's program much longer than ESADE's one year program? That might be a factor to consider.
Also, have you visited the campuses? Maybe you could get a sense of which you like better by seeing for yourself.
Edit: Also, while ESADE far out ranks EDHEC when it comes to MBA's, it's noteworthy that they have pratically the same ranking when it comes to Master in Management : http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/masters-in-management
So, it seems EDHEC is much better known for its masters programs than its MBA. Too bad there doesn't seem to be a ranking for the Masters in Finance... FT only offers a list of programs.

I wish there was a ranking on FT for the MSc in Finance. I agree with Sally... it's a tough decision between ESADE and EDHEC for Finance. Although ESADE overall ranking as a school is much higher than EDHEC. But ranked very high in France for Finance. You might also want to consider the location too. Do you speak Spanish or French? Which language are you more interested in learning if you don't speak either?

What do you think of the Finance programs aside from ESADE and EDHEC? I'm applying to other schools as a back up plan... Grenoble Ecole de Management, EADA, and Carlos III?

Thank you very much for your reply. I read an FT list said that in terms of top salaries in finance, ESADE ranks No.8 and EDHEC ranks No.11. But in terms of best in Finance, EDHEC ranks No.5 and ESADE ranks No.10....what I'm concerned most is what would their career prospect be for international students...

hi, I don't speak either of these languages...but both of them attract me a lot. As for other finance programs...sorry I'm not an European and I don't know much about this area...but I heard that SSE and Bocconi are famous for their finance programs, maybe you can have a try^_^

Well, in terms of salary and program quality they are apparently very similar. That leads me to believe the career prospects would also be similar. One advantage to ESADE might be that the big name recruiters that come there for MBAs might also consider Msc students.
But, overall, I think you can probalby assume they are on a similar level and should maybe make your decision based on other factors (location, language, price, length of program etc.)
