I'm happy to find this post. I was looking into Entrepreneurship programs, particularly Social Entrepreneurship, which Emlyon has a focus on. Good to know. It must have slipped past my radar, because I don't know much about this school, though supposedly FT ranked it in their top 10 in Europe.

Yes , it is one of the best for Entrepreneurship . However , my goals are pretty different but the programme structure & everything else fits into my career goals pretty well.I am going to the school this September for IMBA programme. The school is highly ranked in FT rankings. It's one of the oldest school in France & is one of the most reputed in the world. The faculty is excellent ,and the school has collaboration with different companies & different international schools all over the world.

Sounds great. Could I ask what your goals are? As you said they're pretty different, I would be curious to know. Are you looking to start a company?

Well, the IMBA programme lays strong emphasis on grooming students to become " entrepreneurial leaders".The programme focuses not only on creating entrepreneurs but grooming individuals that drive to make a difference for themselves, their organization, and their community. Here, "entrepreneurial leaders " refers to those individuals who are creative , passionate, willing to make a difference and ofcourse entrepreneurs .
No, I am currently not looking to start a company.Maybe in next 5 years .However , my short term goals are to work as a strategic consultant.I am currently working as a software consultant .
However , the school is the best fir for me because of its strong focus on creating "entrepreneurial leaders" - people who are more than JUST entrepreneurs .Moreover, the school also gives an excellent opportunity to network with classmates because of its small class size.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Sachin
