i wouldn't say it is top ranked(don't confuse it with HEC, despite the similar name) - financial times doesn't rank it at all, and the economist gives an overall rank of 74 out of 100. if you want you should check its ranking in other lists here:

what ever the ranking is, this school holds the so called "triple crown" accreditation, which means it is probably a good school.
be sure to look at this information from the economist to get a better picture:

good luck with the interview, and please share your experiences with the rest of us!

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I did notice that it is not ranked by FT, despite the triple crown accredation.
Will certainly let you know how the interview goes. I am looking for a industry switch, thats why i am concerned about the school, its on camous recruitment and will 10 months be enough to build a network.
TY.

i think that the reason is the different ranking criteria of these two ranking bodies - it is not that uncommon for a school to be ranked by one and not ranked by the other(or have a very big differences in rank)
about the question of networking in 10 months - this concern is something shared by anyone going for a short MBA. IMO you can do some serious networking in 10 months, although it will probably be hard with the intensive studying....
what kind of switch are you looking for ? are you targeting any specific industry ?

I am currently in the hospitality industry, in senior management role. I would like to move to a General Management or Sales & Marketing role rin any sector. I think if you are in senior management most of the functions are same ( I might be wrong). I have experienced this in my current industry, people from other industres join hospitality at a very senior level even though they do not posses hospitality experience and vice versa.
Keeping this concpt in mind, i think an MBA would help me in switching industries. I am not inclined to a particulat industry as such.
If you think, my approach might need some fine tuning, please let me know.
Thank u for your time and reply.

a MBA is always handy for people wanting to switch industries - and i tend to agree with you about senior management mobility. you just have to make sure that the school you are going to is a good networking hub - this info you can probably get from alumni - try to see where they are placed, in which positions ect. - but be sure to contact a lot of them, and not necessarily the ones that the school is pointing out. i know it seems like lots of work, but it is a work that is worth to be doing.

It went well. I will be having one more interview soon.
Their MBA program is new, I guess only started in 2005 or 2006.
I am positive about the admission, I meet almost all their requirements. However I am not sure about their on campus recruitment.

Hi,
Was accepted to the MSc Finance program in EDHEC. Was wondering what is the schools standing in Europe and Asia in the perception of employers?

I have also been accepted in the MBA program and am wondering the same. It is a triple accredited school, however I am not sure how much role that plays when looking for jobs?
