Hi
I am interested in applying for an MBA this year but I am confused about which schools to apply to. Though, I would surely apply to ISB. Also, I am keen on applying to other schools in Asia as I have a background of working on topics related to globalization and Asia and they have much lesser fee compared to schools in Europe and US.
Here are a few questions I have:
1. Is it right to apply in Asia only? (as many of my colleagues say I must also apply in US as opportunities, exposure and learning is much better there). Further, do I even stand a chance of getting through a good school in the US?
2. Is NUS better than ISB in terms of brand value?
3. Which are the best schools in Asia?
Please suggest...
Here is my background in brief:
Undergrad: Disctinction and honours degree in Economics from LSR
Work ex: More than two years with McKinsey's research arm
Extracurriculars: Great achievements in fine arts (I am omitting being modest :D)
Awards: Leadership award from Goldman Sachs, award for fine arts from the Indian Prez etc.
GMAT: 730 (Quant-50 and verbal-40, AWA-4.5)
Please suggest....
Many thanks :)
