MBA in Singapore

rabhatta

I am looking for doing MBA in Singapore either EMBA or part time. I have close to 16 years experience in the IT industry across US, India and Singapore.
Any specific suggestions on EMBA (vs) Part time MBA?
Also, what are the best schools to do EMBA in Singapore?
I also would like suggestions for the schools keeping the cost also in mind, as some of the courses are very expensive.
As I already have significant experience, I would like to do MBA which can help me in faster career progression and opportunities to move across functions within the organization.

Use this: http://www.find-mba.com/search There are six accredited EMBAs in Singapore and, to be frank, they are all quite good. Three of those excellent schools also run part-time MBAs. I don't think you can make a very bad decision with any of those schools, but if you want to move across functions a part-time MBA, which will be extensive rather than intensive, will be a better fit than an executive MBA.

Thanks for the inputs. Can you suggest some ranking for the EMBA course in these schools?
I also want to be with a set of peers who has similar years of experience , and preferably from a different industry, as experience is very important in EMBA classes.
Also, does EMBA be recognized very similar to an MBA?

The Financial Times has the authoritative ranking. School in their EMBA ranking are better than those which are not in it. EMBA holders generally get higher salaries.

What is your opinion about SP Jain? I am from India currently working in Singapore and my long term plan is to work out of India. Hence looking for a school that has well recognition in India. It has only AMBA accreditation. Not really sure if that is good enough.

I think SP Jain is a great choice for the UAE and SIngapore, in addition to India. Depending on your career goals, you might want to consider options. If think any of the Singaporean universities offer a more globally accepted credential than SP Jain.

Hi rajporiya. Are there any specific goals? I think the choice of school depends on the specific outcome, as well as the alternatives.
