What is your background. What are your career goals?

NJ is home to several Pharma companies. Rutgers will give you access to those- and also allow you an opportunity for a full time internship. I believe full time paid internship is the best way to gain work experience in a new country.

Schulich India on the other hand doesn't have time for students to pursue internship. I had an admit from the Schulich India program back in 2011/12 when the 1st year was still conducted at SPJain. Students form that year told me that it was hard for them to integrate with students from the regular full time MBA. Post graduation the job market was filled with Indian applicants and fewer jobs. Even though US is a huge job market, there are tons of Indian students and not as many companies willing to hire you. Then there is the whole H1-B lottery system.

It's hard for Indian students either way Schulich India or Rutgers. While Rutgers provide a more complete package, York University is in top 5 of Canada. Having worked in US for 2 years, I would suggest you to apply for Canadian PR while you are still in India and then go for Schulich India. Companies in US are just not interested in hiring International students at the moment. Unless you bring something unique (what they need urgently) to the table.

Good luck!
