Hi There,
Hoping I can get some guidance and advice from you guys...
I'm 29 years old, UK citizen. i graduated from uni in 2002 with a BA in Marketing with Business Studies. I discovered the world of web in 2004 and in 2005/2006 earned a diploma in Web Design and Development at University of London.
For the last 5 years I've been working in Ecommerce and recently I've just been promoted to Website Production Manager, (my first managerial role).
1) I've been thinking about doing an MBA, but not too sure which is right for me, as I'd like to stay in the Ecommerce/Online Marketing field post graduation. Would the regular MBA be right? I haven't found any programmes which specialise in Web/Ecomms, (only Marketing).
So I'm a little abit worried about staying out of the field for 2 years. (I want to experience the hustle and bustle of NYC and I'm sure on an international student visa, I can't be employed, unless for an internship of course).
2) Are international student loads difficult to obtain for New York colleages?
3) Is it easy to stay employed in NY, as an international student post MBA?
Many thanks for reading.
Reena.
