Business schools in Canada

Why is Telfer School (uOttawa) rarely mentioned in the top business schools in Canada among the usual suspects like Queen's, Ivey, Schulich etc.?

There's a big gap between Telfer and the schools you mentioned. Grads at Queen's/Rotman/Ivey have great starting salaries, and those schools show up in rankings.

Telfer is one of only two triple accredited business schools in Canada.
Doesn't that hold some prestige?
Isn't that give supposed to at least give it some edge over other business schools in Canada?

Well, no I think that is a sign of academic rigour rather than a sign of prestige. I certainly does not give it an edge. I think most of the top 200 business schools in the world could get the triple crown if they wanted to, but the crown does not reflect students' employment outcomes.

Can you elaborate on the big gap you mentioned between Telfer and the other prominent ones you listed out?
Including supportive reasons will certainly be helpful.
Thanks
