While i understand that the best colleges in Canada require a GMAT, i am looking for a masters degree (MBA) or diploma which I can complete in 1 year, online or distance only.

A Budget of 10k USD would be ideal , but can be stretched.

Below are my details:

Graduation : Bachelor of Commerce - Mumbai Univ - 54% 2005

IELTS
Listening 9
Speaking 8.5
Reading 7.5
Writing 7

1. Very few Online MBAs - in Canada or elsewhere - can be completed in one year. The online MBAs are generally designed for working professionals who need flexibility, and usually take 2 to 3 years to complete.

2. If you only have one year your best bet would be an in-class program. Fortunately, many Canadian schools offer one-year MBAs, such as Ivey, Ryerson, and Queen's. With a little more time commitment - 16 months - you can do the MBAs at UBC or Alberta.

3. Those are obviously outside of your budget and require the GMAT. In my opinion, any MBA program worth the investment will require the GMAT.

4. If online is your only option, and you do only have one year, you can look elsewhere for non-MBA programs. LSE offers a diploma in management though the University of London's external offerings for instance. I don't think there's anything similar offered by Canadian schools.
