Liverpool John Moores (Online via UNICAF) vs. German University in Cairo (GUC) MBA: Seeking Feedback

Hello all,

I'm weighing my MBA options between Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) online through UNICAF and the on-campus MBA at the German University in Cairo (GUC). I'd appreciate insights from those familiar with either program.

Accreditation:

LJMU (Online via UNICAF): How recognized is this online version internationally?
GUC: How's its global recognition?
Outcome:

For alumni or current students, how has the program impacted your career prospects or growth?
Cost:

Are there any updated tuition figures or hidden costs for either?
Network:

How active and expansive are the alumni networks?
Events (for GUC mainly):

What events, seminars, or workshops are offered?
Any additional insights or considerations are welcomed. I appreciate any help you can provide.

Best,
Ahmed

How to know for sure it's true? and is it good accreditation?

I am not sure what your goals are but I can't imaging the person for whom these are the best options. Take a look at: https://web.archive.org/web/20230610101919/https://findmbaonline.com/board/general-forum/value-alternatives-to-unaccredited-mbas-58288

Well, a big clue is that they don't claim to be accredited. They are a member of AACSB, and anyone can join it. Membership is not the same as accreditation. Most members are not accredited. But the other way to check is to look on the AACSB website, which has a list of accredited schools.

Assuming you are in Cairo, I suggest American University in Cairo, which has a MBA program, and it has a triple-crown accreditation, if you want to study in Cairo.
