Upon deeper review, the contract appears to be deliberately designed to disadvantage prospective students (knowing most will withdraw when they discover that it is a scam). There is a disparity between what the institution claims to offer versus the quality, and lack of transparency with regards to the content compared to reputable online programmes I have attended. For example, I discovered that they are using third-party material (i.e LinkedIn) as the main instructional resource and that their 'interactive' learning are simply slides with uncoordinated text and links to Youtube videos and ebooks from the free Bookboon site. I regret being cornered into paying 700 USD in 'fees' just to be able to withdraw in less than a week of enrolment. This is indeed a money-making scheme and a diploma mill. I am amused by how this is even accredited by ASIC.

ASIC is not a higher education accredition body, and their visits are often less than one day to review documentation. If you can complete the health and safety forms needed for a cafe in your country, you can be ASIC accredited. This is why specific higher education accreditation, involving the right to issue academic degrees, is important.
