UNSW Launches Online FinTech Degree

New master's program can be completed online in two years

Australia's UNSW Business School has announced plans to launch a new online Master of Financial Technology (FinTech) program.

The new program aims to provide participants with learning combining finance and technology, skills that are increasingly in demand by employers.

The program is designed for those who already have skills in finance who would like to develop their technology skills, as well as those who come in with strong tech skills who want to learn more about finance.

The FinTech program will be delivered completely online and is designed to be completed in two years. The program's core courses include "Technical Tools for FinTech,"  "Data Management for FinTech," and "FinTech Ecosystem and Industry Insights," among others. Students will also work to develop their own applied FinTech project.

The program will feature six start dates throughout the year.
