Porto Business School will offer its Magellan MBA program in Germany, through a partnership with the Hannover-based GISMA Business School.
The program will be offered on a full-time basis over 14 months and will give students an ‘International Week’ opportunity to study in the USA or Asia.
The AMBA-accredited MBA will allow students to specialize in one of four areas: Operations Management, Finance, Marketing, or Organisational Development.
As part of the MBA, students will also have the opportunity to pursue German-language classes, which, according to GISMA, will help improve their chances of landing a job after graduation. "The demand for skilled professionals in Germany is high, and MBA graduates can obtain a post-study work permit valid for 18 months," says Thorsten Thiel, GISMA's managing director.
Previously, GISMA Business School had partnered with the Maastricht School of Management to offer an MBA and other business programs on school's Hannover campus. These programs are currently being phased-out.
The announcement comes just months after GISMA announced that it would be joining forces with France's Grenoble Graduate School of Business to offer an MBA program in Berlin.
