UC Riverside Anderson MBA vs CSU Fresno Craig MBA

optimizer

Hello,

I am new here. I am from Turkey and have been accepted from both these schools. I am not sure about choosing one. Can you give me some information if there is such a big difference between Riverside Anderson MBA and Fresno Craig MBA in quality of education, international reputation, campus opportunities, internship opportunities etc.

I am married with a little baby. They are going to be with me in the US. So, living cost is one of the most essential factors for me to choose either of them. According to my research, living cost (house rental prices) is lower in Fresno than Riverside. Around the campuses, rentals are about $800 in Fresno and $1200 in Riverside.

However, I don't wanna miss an opportunity by being stucked in living cost, if Anderson MBA is much more better in other factors I mentioned above or not mentioned.

I will be glad to receive information, experiences and comments.

Thanks.

Riverside is, literally and metaphorically, hotter: close to LA, part of the UC system and ranked, although not very highly, by US News for its part-time MBA. As a school it looks much better funded and well respected. Maybe try: How to use LinkedIn to find the best school www.find-mba.com/board/33571

In Riverside you'll also be closer to Los Angeles and probably a more diverse array of potential employers. Fresno doesn't have as much diversity - there's the agriculture industry and maybe a few other odds and ends - and it's a bit too long of a drive to get to the Bay Area just for networking.

MIT - Sloan's got one of the best STEM-qualifed MFin programs. It's hard to go wrong with that degree from that school.

Other schools that offer similar programs would be SUNY Buffalo and RIT - Saunders. There are probably others out there as well.
