My husband has oil&gas experience and currently looks for a MBA School in the US in which Oil &Gas companies are mostly interested. Maybe it shouldn't be exactly MBA, but some long-lasting courses/programs in petroleum management (not engineering)

It would be good to get a sense of his profile: work experience, average GMAT scores, etc. Recommendations can vary enormously, based on these factors.
Many of the MBA programs strong in energy are based in Texas, since that's where the industry is. So, take a look at Rice Jones, Texas A&M Mays, Austin McCombs, Houston Bauer, etc.
Also, Duke Fuqua has a great specialized MBA program called MBA in Energy and the Environment that's definitely worth looking into.
