Hello,
I am an Indian Male, 23 years old working in Power Industry (EPC) for last 1.5 yrs (B.Tech ECE)
I got selected into
HULT - MIB Global Rotation Program 1yr (San Francisco)
University Strathclyde Business School - MBM program 1yr (Glasgow)
I intend to work for a year or two after study, preferably in Power Industry, before returning back to India.
The session starts Sept 2012.
Which one is a better program/college ?
I have already paid my deposit of 2500$ to Hult but had second thoughts after hearing about their almost non-existent campus by following posts-
http://www.find-mba.com/board/26112
http://www.pagalguy.com/forum/international-indian-mba-schools-accepting/81085-hult-masters-program-2012-a.html
But then strathclyde is not ranked in FT, already has a campus in India and the recent change in UK post study work visa.
Kindly enlighten and help me decide.
Thanks alot.
Hult VS Strathclyde

You have mistakenly looked at the rankings for MBA rather than for masters degrees in management http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/masters-in-management-2011 Strathclyde is ranked #26 in the world.
I think you should speak to alumni of both programmes. Speak with them to see how realistic either of these programmes are as roles into the power industry,

Sir,
I'll do that. But still what would you choose out of the two or they both have almost the same standings ?

Their MSc programmes don't have the same standing. Strathclyde is 26th I'm the world while Hult is not in the MSc ranking. Strathclyde is one of the longest established and largest business schools offering a masters in management.
But speak to alumni about how realistic your goals are. There is a world of choices.
