Well, if you want to go into fashion management, you'd need to be able to show in the 'Why MBA?' question how you decided that you wanted to go into fashion management. You don't just jump into fashion management---you need to convince adcom that you have a coherent goal. If you've done nothing related to fashion, then that is a problem. But if you've done something related in the past, then you can probably put together an essay talking about how you want to apply your btech to fashion. Otherwise, the exams are all the same--GMAT + TOEFL (if you didn't study in US or equiv english speaking undergrad institutions). If you're interested, one of Columbia's alum is the CEO of Coach.

Hi.. It's nice to see that you're helping everyone out..
I had given NIFT Masters in Fashion Management exam..
I got into it.. Might get mumbai or blore or hyd as my centre..
I wanted to know if there is any other couse related to this that I can pursue overseas.. The prob is that.. The placements in NIFT isnt too good.. the avg salary after recession might be 3-4 lakhs max... right now it is around 2.5 lakhs..
I want to pursue another course related to it maybe ater finishing MFM..from NIFT ... or even working for a couple of years after doing that...
Please help me find such courses that would increase my market value :)

Dear All,
I'm Hassan. I'm looking for Universities that can offer Post Graduate Program in Fashion Marketing/Merchandising.
I have a Textile/Apparel Background, and did a graduate degree in Apparel Manufacturing and Merchandising.
I'm particularly aiming to work for any of these Major Brands like H&M, TOMMY, NEXT, NIKE, etc.
Any help/ suggestions on my career prospect will be highly appreciated.
Thanks alot.
