I am writing this post to get a review/feedback of UCD SMURFIT MBA program from job perspective.

I applied for 2024 intake and received offer with 50% scholarship. I chose UCD because of its vicinity to Dublin business hub which I heard is a good place for technology sector.

I am an Indian male working in It industry with average GMAT (700) and have 10+ years of experience.



From my research I found the quality of education is very good but in terms of job opportunity it is may not be ideal. I have been advised to check for German MBAs as the living cost in Germany is much cheaper compare to those of Dublin. My main concern was gaining expertise in German language, although the alumns told that the knowledge of Germa is not required to work in tech sector, my target sector, only conversational language skill is enough.



I have interview lined up for TCD. I haven't found favorable reviews for TCD too,only that Trinity is a very old university but its MBA is not like UCD 's.

I want to land into tech consultancy roles. Would appreciate some feedbacks.

I think searching this discussion board will help. I don't understand what sort of MBA-level consultancy you can do in Germany if you can't speak with clients.
