Hey!! i have offers from Stirling and Cardiff for MBA 2011.
But I am really confused between both. Can anyone please guide. Cardiff is good but the Fee is too too high. The post study work permit being removed, would it be worth paying such high fees?
Please help! Thanks in advance :)

These are both good universities. Cardiff has AACSB and EQUIS accreditation, which are important if you want to take the degree to another country.
The difference in price between the two is trivial if you want to be a manager. It's a small fraction of the extra income an MBA will generate for you. All MBAs are investments: that's why you should get into the best programme you want, if your objective is to be a well-paid businessperson.

Cardiff has AACSB and EQUIS accreditation...
Are you sure? I can't find Cardiff on the official lists:

Thanks for the correction. I misread this: http://www.cardiff.ac.uk/carbs/about_us/schoolprofile.html which says Cardiff "is a member of both the American-based AACSB International, The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business and of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD ? EQUIS)." Membership isn't the same as accreditation, and I think Cardiff is mistaken to say that it's a member of "EFMD ? EQUIS" - that only serves to mislead guys like me when we're in a hurry ;-)
PS How amazing: all the students on the Stirling MBA are from Asia, other than two Latin Americans. http://www.management.stir.ac.uk/

I agree, it's really annoying that some schools make their AACSB or EQUIS memberships look like actual accreditations.

Aren't almost 50% of MBA students in the UK from India?

I am interested in cardiff business school too. I just know
from this post that cardiff is just "the member of aacsb" .
Cardiff is not the accredited member.
so, I would like to know that how different between "member" and "accredited member"?
one more question , now we know that cardiff dont have any accreditation , Is it still be good business school ?

A membership doesn't mean anything, neither good nor bad.

Cardiff and other unaccredited MBAs are not good schools, or even above average.

Good to hear. For UK and EU students who are not looking for a ranked program, it's a super deal at less than 12k GBP. Although for international students, I'd still think that a school like Lancaster or Bath would be worth the added investment - but that might change if the rankings get shuffled in the next few years.
