Take look at http://www.find-mba.com/boardsearch/q/Nottingham+Malaysia+

The curriculum and lecturing quality will be very similar. The placement and careers services will be different. I would expect careers outcomes to be very similar to the University of Malaysia, and a bit worse that the main Singaporean universities.

Many thanks Duncan for your prompt reply.

I am new to this board and doing some research for doing my MBA.
i have looked at the contents of nott mba and seems to be ok for me. i can choose 5 electives according to my career destination. moreover, the UK programm cost is reasonable for me.
nott malaysia mba cost is very reasonable. what about it's value for money? does it carry same value as uk campus to the employers?

another point is that getting job in the uk after mba is very challenging and if some one has to come back to Home (asia) then what is the point of spending some extra money in the UK if education quality is the same.

please advice.

thanks.

It's a very good programme at an excellent price. I think the quality of the course material and lecturers would be higher than at almost any Malaysian university. I am sure UK employers would value it but, if you are not a European, then the visa status would be different between the two degrees. I think that getting a job with a degree from a good UK campus would be challenging, but it's not impossible - especially with a strong MBA like that. But the visa regulations would not be so helpful if you studied in an overseas campus.

The Nottingham program in Malaysia is very good - and since the campus has been there since 1999/2000, it's had a bit of time to establish a network in the country.

However, there are two internationally-accredited MBA programs in Malaysia that are actually a bit more affordable than the Nottingham program:

University of Malaya
Universiti Putra Malaysia

Those might be looking into, at least for comparison's sake.
