Guys i am confused abt. choosing one of the mentioned University. Please guide me through.

The problem is all of these courses are very average even though they belongs to fairly respectable universities.

there is no clear distinction between these universities and the particular course.

Tell us about your self, what you want to do? why you chose those uni? why that course?

I am atul minche 26 yr, from india and currently working in my father's business - Jute Bags Trading since last four years as well as partly working in an Import Export firm but i want to start my new career in an organization engaged in International Trade.

So i am thinking abt. doing MBA Int. Bus. but most of MBA's required quality managerial experience which I lack so I have decided to apply for MS Int. Bus prog. in UK.

My budget for fees is not more than GBP12000. So according to Course content, University Rankings and fees I have zeroed on these mentioned univ.

So please guide me through,
Should I apply for MBA with such work exp. or continue with MS?
Suggests me other top ranked univ. where I can get admitted?
Job scenario in UK as working rules r keep on changing?

As far as i can tell, you are not very sure of your career inspiration. What is organisation engaged in international trade? What role do you want to play in that organisation?

Dont buy into the hype of international management in the global world of business school. You are international enough already. international management is not a skill it is a mindset, an attitude to work with ppl from different background, be able to speak 2 or 3 languages etc.

You can easily get into MOST MBA in the UK. With 12 grand, you can do MBA in MBA outside top 10 MBA based on Financial Times ranking. Aberdeen is a choice and it is a respectable university or try Hull MBA, if you dont get accepted to the MBA, they will try to give you a slot in a lower degree i.e. Master in Mngt. If you dont want to spend about 15 grand more for the MBA then why not just do MBA now and it is recognised worldwide. Master in management is still a fairly laughing stock degree as most people see.

Else apply to some American university. But without GMAT you can only get into fairly average ones. So stick to the UK if you dont want to do GMAT and want to find the backdoor to very good university but struggle to fill up spaces in their business school.

I had tried to apply for the US B-schools but as i have 12+3 education background most of the US uni. needs 12+4 so i m almost not elligible thats why i choose UK.
So should I go for MBA instead of MS?

Please guide me abt. changing working rules in UK, as Uk border agency have decided , all jobs must be advertised to British workers in Jobcentre Plus for four weeks - extended from two weeks - before companies can seek to employ individuals from outside Europe. This will ensure that British workers not only are first in line for jobs but also have more time in which to apply- 6th sep 2009.
Is this will affect the job oppurtunities for overseas students?

If u know any other good universities plz let me know.
