MSc Finance at Henley Business School

I got an offer from Henley, I see their 2020 ranking for their Msc in 5th in the UK but I have not heard much about this school. I also got an offer from Kings but their finance program doesn't seem to be well regarded despite being a well reputed school. Is Henley a good school? I've heard some people say it's not and the rankings are inflated.

King's is a reputed university but, speaking as one of its business alumni, I don't think the business school is especially reputable with UK employers. I think many, if not most, students return to their home country.

Henley is not just a good school, it's an excellent school. The FT has ranked in, in many recent years, in the MiF, MiM, EMBA and executive education rankings.

Certainly the phenomenon of rankings is over-inflated, but the FT calculates the metrics that matter to many stakeholders in a reliable way with audited data. I think we need them.

In terms of graduate prospects, Henley is 13th, at the same level as the LSE. Kings is at 22nd, at the same level as Kent: https://www.thecompleteuniversityguide.co.uk/league-tables/rankings/business-and-management-studies?sortby=graduate-prospects

The data show that the quality of the students at Kings is excellent. It's the only English school in the UK top 5 for entry standards: https://www.thecompleteuniversityguide.co.uk/league-tables/rankings/business-and-management-studies?sortby=entry-standards

Thanks for the reply, that's good to hear. They seem to really value their finance program there with their own building dedicated to finance.

I think it's not unreasonable to say that pre-experience students go to King's because of location, and students go to Henley despite it.
