Hi I am Roshni from India and i want to do an MBA in the UK or US. I worked for five months as a researcher at an american company here but did not enjoy it. Now i am managing my fathers business. Can you tell me what are the chances of me getting into a decent business school next year? (i will have around 1 and a half years of experience) is there anything else a student can do other than the gmat score and work experience to better chances of getting into a bschool (Options for Bschools would be of great help as i am utterly confused after looking at so many websites)

If you have ~2 yrs by the time you join, you have better chances. Rest depends on the GMAT score, your academic grades, letters of reference etc.
