I think this depends on your goals and options. Liverpool doesn't have a well-rooted MBA alumni network or especially good outcomes for its students. It clearly has a strong position for its Football Industries MBA.

In reality, the school will have a high profile because it validates the Laureate distance learning MBA.

For on-campus study, I don't see why anyone from outside the football industry would study there fulltime when great schools, really world-class schools, like Newcastle or Birmingham, Royal Holloway, Skema or Brunel are the same cost.

Agree with Duncan. But I'd add that for somebody who's coming from abroad and wants a solid education and plans to return to his home country after graduation, Liverpool could be a consideration, if only as a safety school after Birmingham, say.

I'm not sure how safe it will be. I think a school with a longer established MBA and a solid careers services programme will be better.

The selection of a B-School should not only depend on the accreditation. Although accreditation is an important aspect as it underpins the university's reputation , but its more important to gauge if the school can help you in meeting your career goals.
