This is a bit of a marketing gimmick, but when you're paying for an MBA, every little bit helps.
Looks like Brunel is offering £5,000 scholarships to select EU nationals entering the 2011 MBA program, which will bring the cost down to £12,500. Here are the details, according to Brunel:
The £5,000 scholarships will be offered to exceptional candidates who can demonstrate:
- Fulfilment of the entry qualifications for the Brunel MBA: to be eligible for consideration, candidates will need a UK bachelor?s degree at 2.1 or above - or its overseas equivalent - together with a minimum of three years? post graduation work experience
- A managerial position with responsibility for leading a team of professionals and/or a financial budget of a significant size and/or the delivery of an important project
- Clear career progression to date together with the aspiration to be a senior manager
- Citizenship of an EU Member State
In the end, this program is not top-tier, but if you're looking at schools like Nottingham or the University of Edinburgh, having an AMBA-accredited school at this cost as a safety would not be a bad idea.
