I am Japanese and going to study MBA program in this year.
I have received offer from Bradford, Durham and Leeds.

Which university is best in terms of practical side and to make good career in the future.
I think Bradford is the best above purpose.
Durham is good reputation but location and course style is not good (lecture style).
I do not know about Leeds, this school dose not emerge FT ranking recently.

That's why Bradford is the best to study.

Please tell me other opinion.

Salaries of Durham grads are a bit higher than Bradford's - although not by much. I wouldn't consider Leeds as competitive with these schools.

Where do you want to end up - in terms of career and geography? You may be a bit closer to London at Bradford - that might be relevant if you are looking to network there. Durham's closer to the metropolitan areas in Scotland: Glasgow and Edinburgh.

I don't know what your profile looks like, but depending on your GMAT score, be sure to check out Manchester, Warwick, Cambridge and Oxford. The average GMAT score at Manchester is 625 and the others range up to abou 700. But any of these schools will probably give you a better return on your investment, in terms of career services and salary growth, in the long run.

When it comes to career, I want to work in London. However, I heard that European countries are suffering from financial debt crisis, so not good condition to find job especially non-UK (or EU) residents, I think. So, after graduating, probably i will go back Japan and look for job in Singapore, Dubai or Hong Kong.

Do anyone know the circumstance of job opportunity in Europe?
Or if anyone know a HP written about job market, please tell me the URL.

I do not take GMAT and not have enough time to study it. So I applied no GMAT schools.

If you have been educated in Japan, I think you may find the Durham experience to be better. It's an elite and prestigious university with a solid academic orientation and a beautiful city: it will be better respected in Japan. Bradford is more practical, more rooted in manufacturing and it's a working class city. I think you would be happier in Durham, although having a pleasant year is perhaps not the key criteria. As you write, Bradford is less based on lectures. You can expect a more challenging approach there based on team work, case discussions and projects. It's a better management training, but it will be a harder year.

Very true Duncan, I could remember my days at Bradford. we always have to be on out toes, but it was really fun and the best thing i liked about Bradford is their choices of electives. You can have 5 elective modules and can have upto 2 extra modules as a sit-in modules which will not be counted in your grades but you can attend lectures etc. in that way a student can study upto 16 modules in total and an MBA research project.

I was educated one of traditional univ in Japan.
But, considering circumstance in Japan, it is more important to be a practical business player.

I understand your words and Durham is good city to live, but Brad is not.

However, above reason, I probably will select Bradford.
