score 650

Hi Duncan, I am from India. An electrical and electronics engineer. I have 2.5 years of work experience at a major consumer appliances company. Manufacturing. My GMAT score is 650. My extra curricular includes large scale event management. Where should I apply for full time MBA in US. My quant was 48 and verbal 31.

In short, it's going to depend on a number of factors, including 1) where you want to work, 2) what industry you want to work in, and 3) how competitive you are vis-a-vis other applicants.

As you are probably aware, your applicant group (Indian students with a background in engineering) is quite competitive, and many of the others in your cohorts will probably have much better GMAT scores (especially the quant) than you. This puts you at somewhat of a disadvantage.

Look at the bottom tier of the BW rankings, there are a couple of decent options where you might be competitive. You're in the sweet spot for two Colorado schools: Denver - Daniels and Boulder - Leeds; and with another year of work experience under your belt (assuming you're applying for fall 2016), Something like Case Western - Weatherhead might be doable, depending on what their applicant group looks like.

Personally, if I were you I'd use the time between now and then to bump my GMAT score up at least 50 points. :)
