Hello everybody,
I would like to know if anybody can suggest me what kind of job can increase chances of admission.
In Italy the economic situation is rally bad, so it is very hard to get work experience, so I think I have better to focus on what better considered.
Thanks for devoting me time, and forgive me for my imperfect English.
what kind of work experience is the best?

The best work experience is well-paid work. But I think you knew that already, didn't you?

Does not matter what experience I had?? It's only important how much I gained????

Well-paid work is work which produces the most value, so that's the most valuable experience.

Thank you Duncan,
your advice are everytime precise and helpful.
I've one more question: I've read that GMAT is the most important thing on one's profile. Is it true??

In terms of admission into top MBA programmes then the GMAT is the single most important variable, yes.

Yes. And in your application essays you'll want to demonstrate how you achieved progress in your work - so do something you're interested in so that you'll be engaged enough to learn and build your skills. In terms of career roles or industries, one is not going to be better than any of the others. Getting into an MBA program will depend on what you did in your role and how it developed your career.

It's one factor. The other factors admissions committees will look at are your work experience, your recommendations, and your essays (and to a lesser extent, your undergraduate performance.) These factors together show what kind of candidate you are. Only your GMAT score is a numeric indicator, which makes it easy to compare straight across with other candidates. That's why it's important - it's a really efficient way for ad comms to gauge your quantitative and language strengths.
