Please, ask a friend to read my answer to you at https://find-mba.com/board/distance-learning/online-mba-concentrate-in-finance-62550

These degrees will not all cost you $13k, either because you do not live in those states or because there are additional prerequisite courses. Louisiana, for example, has four foundation courses for people who do not have an accredited undergrad business degree.

I am not sure if all of those schools offer the same online tuition to out-of-state or international students, but I do know that most of them do (e.g. UL, Southern Indiana, Southeast Missouri, Missouri State).   If a checkbox MBA is all you're looking for (to fulfill a requirement of your employer), then the cheapest AACSB online option in the US is Georgia Southwestern State U at around $8k (out-of-state online students).

From my own research, I found a couple of universities that offer online MBAs under $12K for both, in-state and out-of-state, such as University of Texas Permian Basin, LSU Shreveport, Emporia State University, all of them are AACSB accredited.

I think Duncan is saying to you that 'cheapest online accredited MBA' is not a goal.

Many posters on this board ask for advice about choosing an MBA but haven't really thought about specific goals which would help others here identify suitable programmes and/or they don't give enough specific details about their history.

For example:

What is your current job?
Do you want to change career industry or are you happy staying in the same industry or type of role?
Do you want to move and work in another country?
Do yo want to achieve a large salary increase after completion?
Do you want to get into a specific job that MBAs are often recruited for such as investment banking or consulting (strategy, technology or general management consulting)?
Are you an entrepeneur who wants to start a business or grow an existing one?

These are common goals, there are more.

So which ones apply to you?

No, that's not a goal. If you're looking to find the cheapest accredited Online MBA, you should just use Google. It's really not difficult. This discussion forum is more for people who have clear career goals and want advice on which MBA would suit them better.

It's like asking for help finding the cheapest car. You can find this info by yourself. If you are looking for advice on which brand / make / model / vehicle type, you can ask others who will undoubtedly ask what you plan on doing with that car so that they can offer the best advice.
