MBA in GSO_MI

Hi,

I have got an admission in Georg Simon Ohm Management Institut, Nuremberg, Germany. But I hear a lot of pros and cons about this Management institut. Can anyone suggest about this? Things to be considered are accredition(ACQUIN) and are there any job chances internationally after finishing the course?

Anybody who have done their MBA in GSO-MI?

ACQUIN is not a hard accreditation to get, so it doesn't add much to basic state accreditation.

If you search the boards here for discussions on the Ohm school, you'll see it is part of a slightly above average Fachhochschule. If you speak German it will open doors in Franconia, but not internationally.

Thank you so much for your response Duncan :) But when I called up the university people directly in order to get these info clarified, I was given such high hopes telling that the degree is valid internationally, and all their alumni students have been well placed internationally with high positions. This convinced me a little though the risks still prevail.

The degree is as valid, but it is not very prestigious. Search on LinkedIn or Xing for their alumni. They are heavily concentrated in Franconia and most are not in senior positions. Ask to speak to some recent graduates and ask them about the sort of roles their classmates ended up in, and how if differed for non-Germans.
