After 21 years in IT consulting in the US/UK, I am trying to make some distruptive changes to career, location, domain etc. I already have an MBA via DL (india) - did long back. I did not get chance to use it deep down in the IT garage. It is now useless, I think. No one would like to hear that even!.
With duel objective of moving to India and getting placement to senior mgt role in IT sector via the school,
Any advice? Any similar stories? Thanks.

It will depend on your work experience and GMAT score. Both the IIM-A PGPX program and the ISB PGPMAX are highly selective: the average GMAT scores are somewhere around 710-720 at both schools.
IIM-A tends to draw a more experienced cohort, with somewhere around 10-11 years of work experience. At ISB it's more like 5.
You can also check out some less competitive programs like MDI or SP Jain. Both tend to have relatively good placements in terms of IT roles.
