Medical degree and healthcare industry experience,a disadvanatge for an MBA application?

Hi All

I am wondering if my medical degree and healthcare industry experience can be a disadvantage for my MBA application since I notice there are very few students from healthcare background in most busniess schools.

Would it be possible to recommend some best one-year programs? It would be wonderful if I could get the tuition waiver. Many Thanks

Have a happy and prosperous new year

No, it's not a disadvantage. Most MBA admissions committees will be relatively agnostic when it comes to your industry background, as long as you demonstrate some kind of career progression in your work experience.

What are your career goals? Where do you want to study?
