The Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies (MIAS)

was founded in 1991 as an autonomous educational institute with the status of a university institution. It focuses mainly on lifelong learning programmes, particularly part-time study programmes for graduates (with bachelor?s or master?s degrees) from Czech and foreign universities and colleges.

Our main fields are management education, engineering pedagogy and language education. The institute cooperates not only with CTU faculties, but also with Czech and foreign universities and colleges, industrial companies, state administration institutions and prominent Czech and foreign experts.

The institute is a founding member of the Czech Association of MBA Schools (CAMBAS), member of the Czech Management Association (CMA), the Club of Personnel Managers of the Czech Republic and the International Society for Engineering Education (IGIP).
