Purdue - Krannert Announces Online MBA

The new program will be technology-focused; to launch in 2020

Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management has announced that it will begin offering an Online MBA program in 2020.

The new AACSB-accredited Online MBA program will focus on technology, according to the school. “The program has a focus on technology and innovation that will be ideal for students with a STEM background or any student seeking career-changing opportunities with high-tech companies," according to Krannert dean David Hummels.

As such, the program's curriculum will include classes such as "Business Analytics," and "Management Information Systems;" in addition to tried-and-true offerings like "Marketing Management," "Financial Accounting," and "Microeconomics."

In all, Purdue's new Online MBA will take two years to complete. Classes will be taught in seven-week segments.

There will be three start dates in 2020 for the Online MBA: January, May, and August.

To apply for Purdue's new Online MBA program, prospective candidates must submit essays, letters of recommendation, and a GMAT score, among other requirements. There is a possibility to waive the GMAT score requirement, if an applicant has at least three years of credible work experience and a 3.0 undergraduate GPA.

For more information or to apply, please see Krannert's Online MBA program webpage.

Wow. Almost three times the cost, for international students, of the Purdue Global online MBA.
