Schools new MOOC specializations include Hotel Distribution, Revenue & Demand Management, Strategic Business Analytics

France's ESSEC Business School has announced the launch of three new MOOC specializations on Coursera.

The new specializations will focus on the following topics: Hotel Distribution, Revenue & Demand Management; and Strategic Business Analytics. Here's a quick breakdown of the new specializations:

The Hotel Distribution, Revenue & Demand Management specialization will be managed by the director of the school's well-regarded MBA in Hospitality Management. The MOOC specialization courses will cover topics such as the management electronic of distribution management as well as revenue and demand management as they affect the hotel industry.

"Participants will understand how the industry has metamorphosed and how the eCommerce intermediaries have left their mark on an already complex world," according to Peter O'Connor, the director of ESSEC's MBA in Hospitality Management. "Additionally, they will be able to implement an effective and relevant online marketing and distribution strategy."

ESSEC's new Strategic Business Analytics Coursera specialization will help participants develop the necessary skills for business analytics consulting. This specialization will provide an introduction to data analysis, which will help participants understand the essentials of analytics. However, it will also provide an overview of which business applications can use these tools and analysis techniques.
