I am planning to go to NYU - Stern. I am applying this year for the Fall 2006 full time MBA.
Anyone already applied to NYU - Stern in the 1st round.

HI
I have got an admission in LBS, TRium and INSEAD for GEMBA program. SInce LBS has schedule for everymonth, I can not continue with that program at this point.
But I am confused between Trium and INSEAD, can you please help me with it.
IN General Trium cost 50 K more than Trium and has travel expenses also 20 K more than Abu Dhabi Insead (which I am considering), I also got 10 K as scholorship from Insead and checking for other alternate scholorships site. I just want to be sure that I am not setlling with second choice b/c of money and there is no major diff b/w Insead and Trium, else I can go for Trium next year.
Thanks
Bharat

Sorry, it's not clear which program you received the scholarship for?
Both are great programs. I would look very closely at the alumni network, and see which program has the strongest representation in the industries / locations where you do business.
For instance, I'd think that Insead might have a larger network in the Middle East / Singapore / Europe, while the Trium network might be more concentrated in the US / UK / Europe. That's just a guess though - do some research on LinkedIn and through your own networks.
There's no settling, either way - these are both very strong EMBAs.

Thanks a bunch for your reply I have got scholorship from INSEAD and yes you are right as per the network presence b/w two colleges. I am myself not sure right now the place where I would like to continue my carrier, currently I am running my business in India but not sure what future holds for me, so if there is not much difference then probably I will go for Insead just b/c it will cost me 60 K less.

Like I said, both are strong programs. Good luck!
