Does anybody know if Johnson Hopkins - Carey will get international accreditation at some point? It's a sticking point for me, I'd like to do my MBA in Baltimore but only at a business school that has accreditation from AACSB. I may end up doing my MBA at Maryland - Smith but that's a bit out of the way for me...

It will; not doubt about it. Ask them when.

I'm sure it will happen soon. From the school's wikipedia entry:
"The school is making steady progress toward gaining Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditation in its goal to ascend the ranks of top-tier business institutions."
If you're only considering accredited options in the area, DC may not be that much farther than going to College Park, and the added distance may be worth it depending on what your goals are. Some good, accredited b-schools there: George Washington, Georgetown, etc.

Thanks. I'll ask Johns Hopkins about their accreditation status. In terms of commuting to DC, good suggestion but that's a bit out of the question for me I think.
