Hult Live MBA, I need your advise

Hi everyone,

I'm from Saudi Arabia and I have an offer from Hult-Live MBA (Boston campus). I'm a bit hesitant to accept it after I read some reviews online. I need some advice either proceeding with Hult or alternative Schools? another thing I realized is that the fees are $38K and it is costly, If you have some suggestions for cheaper schools that will be great.

thank you and have a nice day!

Start with your goals. If you want an online MBA, there are lots of options. And not everyone needs an MBA: some career paths are better off with a professional qualification, a specialised masters or a personal branding campaign.

For $38k, you could have an MBA from a more respectable non-profit university, like the Boston University MBA, the Harvard ALM or the Illinois iMBA.  There are also some great options in the region, include the MBSC-Babson EMBA in King Abdullah Economic City.

Thank you stuart. My goal is to expand my knowledge since I'm an engineer and learn how to think strategically and understand the finance, accounting, etc. In addition to that I expect MBA will boost my career progress and opens doors for me.

Where do you want the doors to open? Look at LinkedIn, and see where MBAs in the industries, firms and countries that interest you have studied. Unless you are targeting specific firms that partner with Hult, like EF, which owns Hult, or DU Telecom in the UAE, you will be better off attending a traditional university like Boston, Harvard, Illinois, Warwick etc.

Thanks duncan, what I meant in Saudi companies and recruiters care about the name of the schools when they hire. Another question what do think about Manchester alliance

Manchester is one of the top 30 universities in the world, according to qs, and Alliance is also one of the top 30 business schools, according to the Financial Times Global MBA ranking. It's a very strong choice, and the rankings reflect it fairly. I was a Manchester undergrad and am a AMBS alum too, so of course I have bias :)

There are six business schools with operations on the Arabian peninsular that are in the top 100 ranked by the FT. Broadly speaking, I think these are great schools to focus on as they will have high concentrations of alumni in the region:

1 Insead

2 London Business School

7 HEC Paris

30 Alliance Manchester Business School

61 City, University of London, The Business School (formerly Cass)

99 Hult International Business School.

TL,DR. Manchester is not the best school on the list, but it has great price performance
