Hofstra Zarb has made tremendous strides during the last 2 years or so. It started to appear in all rankings BW, USNEWS, Forbes. Still far behind Columbia and NYU, but in my opinion clear #3 in NYC at the moment.
Are there any current students or applicants here?

it is defintely the "mover" in NYC
i would say academically Fordham is better, Baruch probably too, but Hofstra name is probably #3 in terms of recognition and certainly connections to wall street.

Is Hofstra really "better" or in the same league as Pace and St. John's? I know its not as strong as Fordham and Baruch.
Hofstra also doesn't have a Manhattan campus which is inconvenient (even though I live on Long Island I prefer taking the LIRR into the city). I can't make a decision among:
Hofstra - Finance MBA (generic finance degree and up and coming school)
Pace - Investment Management MBA (most expensive but imo possibly the "best" reputation out of the three)
St. John's - Risk Management MBA (With a background in trading I really like this concentration)
Also waiting to hear from Baruch and Fordham (unsure if I will get into either).
