MBA offer

Hello,

I have received an offer for the Full-time MBA program at Bath School of Management. I would really appreciate if anyone can give me some advice on whether Bath's MBA program is well recognized amongst employers in the UK.

A little about my background and goals:- I have 3 years of experience working in Data Analytics at Vanguard in their US office. My previous education is mainly aligned towards Finance. I have a completed a MSc in Finance and 2 levels of the CFA exam. I have also completed all levels of the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) exam.

My goal is to transition into strategic management roles focusing on Analytics strategy.

Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks!

It's certainly a well respected business school, and university.  It's ranked fairly and, obviously,  is not one of the ten top UK MBAs. One of those might be better for your goals.

I am not quite sure what you mean by "strategic management roles focusing on Analytics strategy". Could you post a random job vacancy for the sort of role you seek? Do you mean something like this: https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/3516794421

Yes! The example of a role you sent is perfect. Or roles in consulting firms focusing on data analytics like this: https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/3528296897

You don't need an MBA for those roles.

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback Duncan.

I now have offers from Bath in the UK, WHU in Germany, and SFU in Canada for their Full-Time MBA program.

Lets say that I go for an MBA and my goal is - to get a decent job in areas of product management, as a business analyst or consulting and settle down in the country where I am going to study.

Which MBA program do you think would be the most suitable?

You don't have a specific career goal or country in mind. Slow down. Set a goal. Find the best school for your goal.
