So, depending on your goals you have the choices
- to go to a weaker MBA (in that case read Shortcut to find the best US MBA www.find-mba.com/board/36065 ) or
- to get a higher GMAT and more work experience and go later to a very good MBA at a better school
- to take an MS in marketing (somewhere like FIU, IIT, UAlabama, Temple, UC Denver, USF.)

What's your score breakdown? If one side of the score (verbal/quant) is substantially lower than the other, you could put some solid effort into the lower side and quickly increase your score.

Honestly, I don't know of many accredited MBAs where a 510 GMAT will be very competitive. If you can get it up to 560-580 you can look at an unranked school like South Florida or San Jose State. 600+ opens up a lot more options though, like Kogod, UMass Boston, maybe even Georgia State.

In what era are we at now? Time to grow up and tell your parents what you WANT to do! Don't just blindly listen to them! You are going to do an MBA, not going to high school!
