Hello, I am applying for MBA programmes and I would like to know what my chances of getting into the LBS MBA are given he following profile:
-Work experience= 4 years as an equity analyst at a large asset manager in London (AUM of more than $300bn)+ 2 investment banking summer internships from top banks while I was in uni
-GMAT=710
-White male
-GPA= Hard to covert it, it is 104/110 in Italy which I think should translate to 3.0-3.2. If any Italian with experience disagrees let me know. This is the biggest unknown factor. If they see it as a 3.4-3.5 I am probably in, if they see it as a 2.8 I am definitely out
Undergrad= Bocconi University, Bachelor of Science in Finance
-Passed all 3 levels of the CFA
What do you think my odds for the LBS MBA are? Thank you!

You meet the minimum standards but your leadership experience and the global nature of your goals need to be clearer.

In general you have a strong profile. I think you may be overthinking your undergraduate GPA handicap. The adcomm will probably be more inclined to give more weight to your CFA and GMAT score, making the GPA less important. If your GMAT score is pretty well balanced - versus one section being substantially higher than the other - this would help.
That said, LBS gets many applications from people with similar profiles to you each year. You'll have to - through your essays, references, and the way you articulate your goals - need to find ways to set yourself apart from the pack.

I'm an LBS MBA, and have been an admissions interviewer for the school. You have a very common profile. Apply as early as possible, and stress what is surprising about you.
