Scholarship in Toronto Rotman MBA

I'm ukrainian/male/26. I'm going to apply to several canadian MBA programs this week. Those are Alberta, Sauder, McMaster, Brock and Toronto Rotman. Toronto Rotman high ranked, but expensive. I can't afford it. My budget is 50-55 CAD for tuition. So, I will be able to study in Rotman only in case I get a scholarship which can cover 40-50% of tuition cost. My largest advantage is GMAT score, which is 750 (q51, v39). However, IELTS is 7.5, which is sufficient, it but indicates that I'm not a 100% fluent english speaker. What are my chances to get a scholarship in Rotman in order not to exceed the limits of my budget?

A friend of mine, also ukrainian, an IT specialist, recently graduated from american MBA. He told me that he was offered a 50-60 percent discount/ scholarsip in 3 of 5 MBA schools in which he was admitted. Does is sound truely? If so, are discounts/scholarships the same widespread in Canada as they are in the US?

I don't think your friend was lying to you. I think he was a strong candidate who applied to safe schools where he was better than the average candidate. Read: The sad facts about scholarships http://www.find-mba.com/board/37055

Scholarships are less generous in Canada, because both endowments and fees are smaller.
