I have been studying a number of glossy brochures for MBA courses and as I am not in a position to do a full time course or even an intensive EMBA course that requires more than 5 weeks a year of attendance, I was impressed by the content of the Warwick MBA brochure. Simply the way it was written "Speed up" "Slow down" was a breath of fresh air compared with some of the vague schedules that the universities put forward. take a look at this:
------------from Warwick MBA Brochure
----Speed up
On the Warwick Executive MBA, you can often speed up your studies through careful selection of elective modules and an early start to your project.
Studying the Warwick MBA by distance learning, you can complete the programme more swiftly by taking some or all of your elective modules face-to-face in five-day residential blocks.
----Slow down
We know that circumstances sometimes change; weddings, babies, or promotion can knock you off-track. Sometimes taking longer to complete your studies might be the best way to get what you want in the long term and we?re here to help you achieve your aims. You?ll find we?re always ready to listen and help you find
a way through. Study your way.
----Mixing study modes
We?re pretty flexible ? what suits you?
The Warwick Executive MBA splits the teaching into five-day residential blocks. You could study your core modules like this, but later choose to study by distance learning.

Study your core modules by distance learning, but take all or some electives as five-day residential blocks. Once you?ve completed your core modules, join us for a term at WBS to complete all your electives as a full-time participant.Study full-time from September to December for five core modules, then
complete the remainder of your core and your elective.

I find what is written there impressive both in its flexibility, but also its clarity. One day all MBA brochures will be this written like this. Respect.
