Hi everyone,
I am a mid-level manager based in Abu Dhabi, UAE with 14 years working experience, 7 of which is a managerial experience. I have a two year diploma in hospitality (some call it associate degree), and currently considering my options to pursue an MBA. I am planning to relocate to the US in 3 years and I hope to work for a reputable company in the US.
My options are the followings:
1. Enroll in Strathclyde University, UAE - accredited by AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS.
a. Since I do not have a bachelor degree, I have to opt to their online program
b. With the campus is an Abu Dhabi based, I will be eligible to attend their classes in Abu Dhabi with some extra fees (I prefer face to face study than an online based study)
c. Would this MBA be recognized in the US (knowing this is not a US based university)?
d. Is it going to increase my probability of getting hired in the US market?
2. Enroll in an American, online based MBA Program (with international accreditation).
a. Not a face to face program, but probably will be more useful for me since I am relocating to the US in a few years?
b. How much does the university able to assist you finding the right job?
c. Would an online based program be less valuable than a part time on campus program?
d. Would a reputable American University accept a candidate without a bachelor degree?
3. Swiss Business School, UAE, accredited by ACBSP and IACBE only.
a. This is my least option
b. How much does an MBA with these accreditation valued in the eyes of employers, especially in the US?
4. Pursue an MBA after relocating to the US
a. Would a bachelor degree be required?
b. If i got into a program that accepted my work experience in lieu of a Bachelors degree and got an MBA, would a future employer have a problem with me not first earning a Bachelors degree?
Thank you everyone in advance.
Best regards,
Putu

Eliminate 3 as an option. Surely Illinois the best option for you?
I don't understand why or how you think you can relocate to the US. You won't get a work permit, but perhaps you have already established an alternative path.

Hi Duncan, thank you for your reply. Yes I do have an alternative path on migrating to USA. What do you mean by Illinois?
