MBA at Grenoble GSB- September 17 intake

Hey,

I am a mechanical engineer, I currently work in Saudi Arabia where I am responsible for maintenance and repair activities of over 800 fleets and a team of 76 employees. I am 25 years old and have 3 years of practical work experience between Nigeria (1 year) and Saudi Arabia (2 years). I applied for an MBA at Grenoble GSB and got accepted without the need of a GMAT score. I didn't apply for any other school because they require GMAT and I do not have time to prepare for the GMAT (we work from 5:30 am till 6:30 pm) and the location of the GMAT test center is so far from where I live in Saudi Arabia (around 450 Km). Is the MBA at Grenoble GSB worth it (I already confirmed my attendance at GGSB and paid the downpayment)? Will it help me to secure a job in France/Europe (I Speak basic french)?

Thanks!

It's not a terrible choice (ranked #17 in the FT in terms of international mobility), but you'll probably need a lot better than basic French to land a job in France. You probably wouldn't have the same kind of career mobility as if you did your MBA at HEC Paris or Insead - ie. those schools are going to be the ones where the big MBA employers recruit from.

Why don't you ask Grenoble for examples of alumni who have made the same kind of switch you're looking to do? Connect with them and see what kinds of challenges you'd be up against.
