Best MBAs for international students' placement

Duncan

I think you can really easily find the answer to these questions yourself. Placement is detailed comparatively in The Economist's ranking. Obviously you know which language is spoken in France. You can read its website. Consulting is so broad... I think you have to be more specific.

Hi Duncan
I was just going through the list though i understand its 2 years old but seems beneficial.
However at current position I have 2 offers: HHL in Germany and MGSM Australia.
I compared 2 with every aspect: MGSM ranks 56 in the FT Global MBA ranking (Top in Australia) where as HHL stands 31 in Europe Business School ranking of FT (3rd in germany). The HHL has 21 months course with arond 20lacks INR in fees and MGSM will be a 2 years with fee nearly 35 Lacks in INR.
I am really confused which one to choose considering the amount of investment required and ROI bases that. (Please Note: HHL is giving me offer for 2017 batch so I will have one year to grasp some German whereas MGSM is ready to offer me seat in the very next batch). Need some expert view badly..

MGSM is a better school and you don't speak German. Unless your skills are very much more in demand in Germany, your higher pay in Australia will more than account for the higher fees.

Without more work experience you can't get into a valuable MBA. A valuable Masters in Management will give you better placement and salary than a below-average MBA. All the programmes listed on the post I indicated will be better than a below-average MBA, but the one that stands out to me is at Duke: http://www.fuqua.duke.edu/mms-foundations-of-business/ If you already have a degree in business, then South Carolina might be better: http://moore.sc.edu/academicprograms/masters/masterofinternationalbusiness.aspx

The eduniversal rankings are good for Australia. My list for the US seems fairly comprehensive.

Hi Duncan,

I am seeking admission in one of the reputed MBA programme of Europe. I applied to Cambridge, Cranfield, Lancaster, EDHEC , Warwick, UQ , Australia and ISB India.

Thus far I have received admit offers from Cranfield, Lancaster, EDHEC, ISB and UQ.

I am pretty confused on which one to choose.

My background : I have served in military for 20 years and have been engaged in aerospace maintenance management and MRO IT project management in these years. I shall be moving with my family for whichever place I join.
I wish to pitch in for senior management positions after MBA, i.e., director or division head....

Please advice which MBA programme is best. I tend to zero in to Cranfield or Lancaster..

Your aviation and defence background, as well as your age, seems to be a much better fit for Cranfield. Did you consider IMD, ESMT or the Sloan Fellowship at LBS?

Thanks Duncan, for prompt reply.
You have made me inch closer to my decision.
I had approached IMD but they suggested me to look at their executive MBA programme. ESMT I didn't try due to language hindrance. About Sloan Fellowship at LBS I was not sure if it would help me connect for placement in Europe after course. Further, I assumed most such people join fellow programme who would continue in their same industry and same function and may not be fit for someone doing drastic changes as country, function and industry.

Your assumption about the fellows programme is a bit out of date. Speak with them.

Hi Duncan,
With current US politics, which are the best options for international applicants?
I have a 600 GMAT and applied to SUNY Buffalo and Katz Pittsburg. Where else should I apply?

I think the US is still a great option for students looking to work in their domestic market. For international mobility, I think the US continues to be a risky choice.
