MBA Business Consulting/Strategic Management

Hello all,

I'm having an experience of over 2.0 years in Business Consulting and Market Research in India. I'm planning to apply for my Masters in International Business Consulting or Business Consulting in Germany. I have shortlisted ESB Business School, and Offenburg's MBA - IBC.

I want to apply for the next semester (Sep 2019 or Mar 2019). For September intake, I can complete B2 before I leave to Germany. For March intake, I can complete A2. Which would be the best option for me to choose for me in those two intakes.

My long term goals: Complete my MBA, work abroad for 4-5 years in Business consulting industry, and start my own company in India after that. Please suggest some good universities for my profile other than those two universities.

My profile:
10th: 81%
12th: 89%
Bachelors: 7.51/10.0
IELTS: 7.0 (All 6.5)
Work Experience: 2 years till date

Expecting valuable advises from experienced people.

Best Regards,
Abhijith

ESB is a better school than Offenburg, but you could be better off taking a degree at an internationally accredited (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS) traditional university rather than a Fachhochschule. I am not really sure what sort of consulting work you can do with B2 German. I would suggest you get to C1 and then an MSc taught in German to maximise your fluency and your specialised business vocabulary.

Just curious to as why you're looking at Germany and not a country where you already speak the local language? Seems like getting to a point where your German is good enough to work as a consultant in the country might be a bit of an uphill battle. An MBA in UK / Scotland / Ireland (maybe even Canada?) could be a better, quicker option, versus taking another year to do more language learning.
