I would like to get some opinions on full-online MBA formulas, I've been looking at ESMT or HHL and programs do look attractive but I'd like some thoughts on the following.



Aside from any other considerations - quality of the program, BS ranking, etc - would you think that a 100% online formula is worth the investment (usually not that cheaper than in-person format...)?

The typical main argument 'against' online MBAs is that 'most of the value of the MBA is in the network(ing), therefore online formulas decreases this value significantly. 

Would you think that this is still valid, in the current/future workplace and related dynamics ?

I mean networking already happens almost entirely online in my views. This being said, I fully recognize the value of in-person interactions especially in developing new skills.

As a rule of thumb, online MBAs will continue to have a disadvantage in comparison to classroom MBAs are the same schools. Networking is not the only difference, or even the main one, but that is also different.

Thanks for the reply Duncan. Would you say that - again in terms of 'rule of thumb' - mixed formula which are also very popular (e.g. 80% online, 20% in person) would suffer the same disadvantage ?
